Your Rights and Security

cbd.com.tr and its English edition cbd.school do not sell products, require registration or show ads. We collect information from you only through the contact form and newsletter subscription, and only as much as you give us. Which data is processed, and for what purpose, is explained in detail in the KVKK Data Protection Notice.

How do we protect your data?

• All pages of the site open over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
• Only authorized people can log in to the admin panel, using two-step verification.
• We collect only what is needed: we do not record your IP address; to limit misuse, we keep an irreversible hash of it.
• We delete contact messages after 12 months.

No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee security 100 percent. If you notice a problem, write to us right away.

How do you use your rights?

To find out whether your data is processed, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or to withdraw the consent you gave, you can write to [email protected] or, in the contact form, choose the subject "My personal data." We reply free of charge within 30 days at the latest. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, the link at the bottom of every newsletter is all you need.

Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we find out that someone under 18 has sent us data, we delete it.

In our articles we link to PubMed, official bodies and other sites as sources. Those sites’ own privacy rules apply; we recommend reading them separately.

Changes

We update this page and the data protection notice when the way we process data changes; the date of the update is shown at the top of the page.
