About Us
Updated:
cbd.com.tr is an independent, Turkish-language information site about CBD and cannabis, and cbd.school is its English edition. We don’t sell products, recommend brands or accept advertising. Our only job is to explain, in plain language, what research says today and how far that conclusion can be trusted.
The site was founded and is run by Selçuk Gündoğdu. This page explains what we do, how we work and what we don’t know.

How do we work?
Every topic is searched systematically in PubMed, Cochrane and ClinicalTrials.gov. Every study we find is read from the source itself, not from its abstract, and then goes through a second, independent reading. We use AI tools in our preparation; everything AI finds is checked against its source, and information without a source is not published.
Wherever we show a result, we also give the strength of evidence: strong, moderate, weak, very weak or insufficient. The result label is for pure CBD; results for products that contain THC are given separately, with their own strength of evidence. We don’t recommend personal doses; your doctor decides the dose, taking into account the medicines you take. Details: How to read the level of evidence and Our editorial policy.
Transparency
When a topic’s result or strength of evidence changes, we add a dated note to the page’s research history: we write what changed, why, and which studies led to the change. All changes appear on the Evidence changes page and in the RSS feed. We don’t hide information we couldn’t verify; we list it separately on each topic’s page.
Expert review
We want the guide to be reviewed by independent doctors and pharmacists as well. Today, no reviewer is named on our pages; when there is one, we will list them on each page by name, with the review date. Health professionals who would like to contribute can apply through the Join our team page.
Our principles
- We don’t sell. cbd.com.tr and cbd.school do not sell products; our aim is accurate information, not sales.
- We don’t sell false hope. We don’t promise products that “cure” a disease; we explain what research shows and what it doesn’t, together with the level of evidence.
- Our sources are peer-reviewed publications and experts. We take our information from peer-reviewed scientific journals, official bodies and people who are experts in their field.
- We correct common misconceptions. Our aim is to clear up common misconceptions about CBD and cannabis and to point readers to accurate information.
- Health decisions are made with your doctor. Our content is for information only; for diagnosis and treatment, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you spot a mistake, you can write to us at [email protected] or via Instagram; we will verify it and correct it.
